Kentucky affordable and low income housing

The state of Kentucky provides many rental assistance programs. The Kentucky Housing Corporation provides a large number of affordable rental programs. HUD also pays a portion of rents through the section 8 program. Residents of the properties normally pay only 30 - 40% of their income for rent. HUD picks up the rest. The program is no longer called Section 8. It is now called the Housing Voucher program.
