Stanfill Towers for Seniors 62 is a HUD Apartment. HUD residents usually pay 30% of their gross income for rent. Stanfill Tower offers 124 UNITS federally assisted housing for persons 62 years or older. Residents must qualify under the income limits set by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the occupancy policy established by the sponsor. Monthly rent is based upon the resident’s income in a formula specified by HUD. Amenities:     On-site management and maintenance staff     24hr emergency on call service     Off street parking spots available (limited number)     On-site community spaces include a sitting area and lobby, meeting and social room, kitchen and library     Located within short walking distance from Station Avenue which is a "Main Street" with restaurants, market, flower shop, library, post office, banking and many other amenities     Residents receive a monthly newsletter and calendar and can also view activities on an in-house TV channel     Vibrant and active community     A full calendar of activities is offered including weekly games, card playing, group discussions, computer learning center, special parties, dinners, holiday celebrations and monthly birthday parties     Emergency pull cords in bathrooms and bedrooms
