Founded In 1988 Habitat For Humanity Addresses The Need For Affordable Housing In Chester County. HfHCC Receives Monetary And In-Kind Donations From Individuals, Corporations, Religious And Civic Groups, And Foundations. Acceptable Governmental Support Is Limited To Funding For Infrastructure Development, Administrative Support, And Land Acquisition. Over 2,000 Community Members Volunteer Their Services To HfHCC Each Year, Providing The Bulk Of The Labor For The Construction Of Our Homes. Ninety Percent Of The Labor Involved In Our Construction Projects Continues To Be Contributed By A Corps Of Volunteers, Many Of Who Have The Skills To Keep Our Cost Of Purchased Services To A Minimum.
