User Response: Security dep is same as rent, and pet deposit is around $300 last I knew one bed was something like $975+, but the cost to u is 1/3 of you're income roundabout.

  • Are these apartments low income, sliding scale income based?

    • Tuesday, August 30, 2022

User Response: 1/3 of your income. BUT if you ask me, their estimated value is high, especially since they have gone drastically downhill (and the value has gone up?)

  • Do you know any waiting list details? Let us know..

    • Tuesday, August 30, 2022

User Response: I know they don't have enough maintenance guys to keep up with the # of empty apts.

  • Are these apartments safe? Please let us know details.

    • Tuesday, August 30, 2022

User Response: There is a pull string in bath & bedroom. not great bath/showers (not built in rails). The front doors to the buildings are kind of heavy, and not automated. there has been a battle for years over their not being enough salt/sand during the winter, but the past few years they have hires a company to do it, so that's a lot better now. Oh, and the alarm pull in the bed and bath, only rings a VERY loud bell in the hallway, so if your neighbors are out or can't hear well, you may be there for a while.

  • Are Pets allowed? Please let us know any details.

    • Tuesday, August 30, 2022

User Response: Yes, one, cat, dog or bird. You have to pay the whole pet deposit up front, u used to be able to split it over 3 mo that. Sometimes people get an exception for another pet but I'm unclear as to what the special exception exactly IS.

  • Which utilities are included in the rent?

    • Tuesday, August 30, 2022

User Response: Heat and hot water and electricity, though if u have an air conditioner its I think $140 for the year. If u r in a one bedroom without a back door, you have to have a floor model a.c. though I think most of us would at times rather pay it than be MICRO managed by the manager (a BIG problem around here).

  • Are you familiar with this location? What is your opinion of it?

    • Tuesday, August 30, 2022

User Response: I have lived here for 10 years, and its gone downhill the past 8ish years, though may be leveling off somewhat they don't hire enough help, and tend to do stuff in an absolutely infuriatingly absurd ways...they have been good to me, but lots of the time they don't seem to respect us a whole lot. DONT move here if u have a problem with MOLD OR MILDEW. Its an old bunch of buildings! we do have sliding doors (albeit leaky and cloudy due to their age) and teeny balconies (2 chairs and a small tables worth), which is why i moved here. The laundry room is pretty small.

I live here, its ok. Not as bad as some of the horror stories i've heard, but not as nice as some of the places that i've seen. I manage. Its enough space for one person with a small modest amount of stuff, some of the units have access to extra storage in the mildew smelling basement. Its really close to 2 pharmacies, hannaford grocery, every $ store in existence, car garages, a vet, florist. Close enough to the outlet mall and other stuff. The one i live in is franklin center street, is tucked back by the river, so the traffic sound is minimal, but there's units downtown which are pretty exposed. The one in tilton is where the office is, and by the looks the best maintained (obviously). I doubt u will find any positive raving reviews, probably mostly negative raving ones, but its a place to live and it could definitely be a lot worse.
