Qualifications: Do you qualify to live here?
To qualify for low income housing in Oklahoma, you must meet the following income requirements:

Your household income must be below 80% of the area median income (AMI). The AMI is updated annually by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and varies by county.

You must have a valid Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).

You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant.

In addition to the income requirements, you may also need to meet other eligibility requirements, such as:

- You must not have been evicted from any public housing or Section 8 housing in the past three years.
- You must not have any outstanding felony convictions for drug-related offenses.
- You must not be a registered sex offender.

    I am currently looking for a home for me and my 4year old daughter, shes currently in dhs and im in sober living oxford and im working on getting her back and have been for 5months, the social worker is asking for overnights and unsupervised visits on the 22nd of this month which is our court date so im hoping all goes well, anyways long story short my daughter cannot live with me where im at so im needing to find an income based apartment asap. I work and get pay every 2 weeks a little over 500 dollars and i have to pay rent where im at which is 125 weekly so saving money is out of the question for an affordable apartment.
