Brazil Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low income residents through the management of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD. There may be waiting lists for these rentals or vouchers due to the overwhelming need for housing assistance and at times these lists may close to new applicants based on the size of and the length of wait on the lists. If you are in need of assistance please contact the Housing Authority directly to obtain more information about eligibility requirements, availability of rentals or vouchers, the status of any waiting lists and their application procedures.

Note: Apartments may not have openings or may have long waiting lists. Call for complete details.

Most apartments have waiting lists. Search early and do not just settle on one apartment choice.

Contact Your Local Housing Authority

Housing authorities have many opportunities. Many do have closed waiting lists, but they may be able to provide other public housing resources.
