In Response To The Limited Aid Available To Those Who Toil The Fields To Bring Us Our Nation's Abundant Crop Of Fruits, Vegetables And Other Foods, The Harvest Of Hope Foundation Distributes Privately Raised Money To Help Migrant Farm Workers And Their Families. Migrant Farm Workers And Their Families Often Travel Thousands Of Miles Annually To Secure Temporary Or Seasonal Agriculture. Yearly Wages Hover Between $7,000 - $12,000, Placing Most Migrant Families In Poverty. Health Insurance Is Not Provided Nor Is Affordable. Working And Housing Conditions Are Often Substandard. Migrant Families Work In Rural, Isolated Areas Of Our Country And, Therefore, Have Little Economic Or Political Cloud To Change Their Working And Living Conditions.
