Each unit comes with a balcony or patio. Cottage residents have attached garages, and those residing in apartments have access to covered parking. the village will feature spacious community areas and includes a library, fitness center, rooms for games, crafts and computers, a movie theater, beauty salon/barber shop and 24-hour emergency maintenance service. An activities director will provide a full schedule of things to do in the village and the royal oak and metro detroit areas. On-site health services will be available, and each unit has emergency pull cords. Barrier-free apartments are available. the groundbreaking was may 26 and extensive work is being done on the property to prepare for building the structures. A leasing trailer on durham road -- one block west of devon road and three blocks west of crooks road -- will open shortly for seniors to begin the application process. Hours will be 9 a.M. To 5 p.M. Monday through friday, and noon to 4 p.M. On saturday.
