RUPCO's three rental assistance programs offer a variety of short and long term solutions for eligible applicants.
RUPCO Rental Assistance Department offers an array of rental assistance opportunities for families in need in Ulster County. It is our belief that every person deserves a safe, decent and affordable place to call home.
Rental Assistance: Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program
Rural Ulster Preservation Company is the local administrator for the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program in Ulster County. This is federal program provides rental assistance for very low-income families to enable them to choose and lease affordable privately-owned rental housing. RUPCO currently administers 1397 vouchers.
The Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Rental Assistance Program waiting list is closed.
