Eggerts Crossing Village is a HUD Apartment. HUD residents usually pay 30% of their gross income for rent. The rent amount, less approved HUD deductions such as medical and child care expenses, and other allowances, includes a utility allowance. HUD Residents also may choose to pay what is known as flat rent. The HACC works with applicants to determine which rent arrangement is best for them.

Eggerts Crossing Village is a 100 unit family housing complex consisting of 1- to 5-bedroom townhouses for individuals and families. Sixty of the units are rented at market rate. The remainder of the units have a contract with HUD (US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development) for subsidies for forty (40) Units. The household income may not exceed the limit as published annually by HUD.
