Leviticus 25:23 Alternative Fund Was Founded In 1983 As A Community Development Revolving Loan Fund By Faith-Based Groups Located In The New York Metropolitan Area Who Are Members Of The Tri-State Coalition For Responsible Investment. The Fund Is Set Up As A Not-For-Profit Corporation Whose Membership Invests A Portion Of Their Assets In Service To The Economically Poor. The Fund Partners With Nonprofit Organizations Rooted In Impoverished Communities And Focuses Its Financing On Low-Income Individuals And Families At 80-Percent Of Area Median Income, And Includes Emergency Shelters, Youth Services, Domestic Violence Support, Employment Training, Mental Disabilities Or Chemical Dependency Programs, Immigrant Advocacy And Group Homes.
