Carrfour, whose name means œCrossroads  in French, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1993 by the Homeless Committee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. Its mission is to provide permanent housing and supportive services to maximize the self-sufficiency of the formerly homeless in Miami-Dade County and other cities in Florida through joint ventures with various non-profit organizations. Del Prado Gardens is a 32-unit townhouse community providing formerly homeless families a safe place to live while encouraging independence within a supportive environment. Through the companionship and support of others who have shared similar experiences and with the support of Carrfour's case management team, the community emphasizes self-sufficiency and offers a nurturing environment for children.
