You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant.

In addition to the income requirements, you may also need to meet other eligibility requirements, such as:

- You must not have been evicted from any public housing or Section 8 housing in the past three years.
- You must not have any outstanding felony convictions for drug-related offenses.
- You must not be a registered sex offender.

    I am a 67 year old man living on an ssi of about $800 a month and some snap benefits. I live in minnesota, but would like to move to new haven as soon as possible. If there is a studio or apartment in berger apts i would like to be considered for it. However, this place must be close to a bus stop. Thank you.
